KEYSTONE PROJECT

LIGHT DESIGNED FOR LIVING, AMBIENCE AND FUNCTION.

A CONCRETE HOME WITH FOCUS ON FINISHES AND FINE DETAILS.

Our client is an experienced home builder and had a clear vision for this new home. Minimalist, with a focus on quality concrete forms. He had selected his decorative lighting, but found himself at a loss when it came to balancing that decoration with light that would work in his home without fitting the ceiling with downlights.

We provided a full design service, from concept to construction documentation, and his team followed the design to a T. Our design focused on providing functional light where it is needed from discrete, nearly invisible sources. We found balance in the design with focal glow from wall lights, creating texture and also highlighting the exceptional concrete work in the home.

This home is a wonderful example of Architectural Lighting Design – putting light where it is needed, using light for texture, wayfinding and decoration while keeping ceilings clear and clean to enhance the feeling of openness inside.
