COLOUR AND MAXIMALISM BROUGHT TO LIFE WITH LIGHT

A UNIQUE HOME, CURATED BY A TALENTED HOME OWNER TO SHOWCASE BEAUTIFUL COLOUR, TEXTURE AND PATTERN WHICH WE ILLUMINATED WITH CARE TO MINIMISE VISUAL CLUTTER.

This homeowner came to MINT with a very clear and incredibly beautiful interior design style and her own detailed layouts for each room in the home. Our contribution to this design was to help integrate light into the home and avoid cluttering the ceilings with downlights.

We worked through the design process over a few months, iterating the concept to suit the interior design.

A professional lighting design can be the difference between executing a creative design successfully or finding yourself in a dramatic interior without enough light.

The dressing-room at our South Rd Project is paradise and an absolute showstopper, with integrated light allowing the main space to be lit just with beautiful colourful pendants, keeping the ceiling clean and the focus on the stunning interior decor and of course the fabulous fashion.

The colourful chandelier was designed in collaboration with @random_spaces, these guys then built and bought this phenomenal work of art to life, with the vivid resin spears being custom made by talented model maker @clairetennantworkshop in Sydney. It is inspired by the original Murano glass wall lights, with the resin colours calibrated to match the glass. This final pendant is 2M tall, and 1M diameter, suspended under a mirrored ceiling for 360° views.
