Cascade Wall Lights: More light, More Sparkle, More Flexibility

Taking the original architects design, plus the original hand cut glass made in the 50's for this project, we designed a modern take on these original wall lights, bringing more light, more sparkle and more flexibility to the sympathetically renovated lounge room in this clients home.  Using local expertise, the new lights were built in Melbourne, with high quality locally made light sources and for less than you'd pay for a standard high end wall light.

Turrell Inspiration

Turrell understands light as a physical experience, and his works are just that.  He want's us to feel light, to experience it in 3 dimensions, to let it change our perception of the world.  His work is challenging - it's calming and uplifting, simple and complex, easily explained and completely mind bending.  He truly is a master of blending science and art to create a human experience.

Melbourne Airport Forecourt Enhancement

Mint Lighting Design's Director, Adele Locke, designed for 12 individual sites, each of which had to be linked to the others both visually and via an incredibly complex programming system that runs a 24/7 show of dynamic lighting across the entire forecourt area.  Special shows have been designed for important days in the multicultural calendar: Diwali, Remembrance Day, Christmas, ANZAC Day, Australia Day and Chinese New Year.
